Emily Dorn

Canadian soprano Emily Dorn began perfoming professionally at the age of eleven as the main singer in Cirque du Soleil's touring production of 'Quidam'. She studied Voice Performance at McGill University and Mannes College before embarking on her operatic career. She has since  performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and major opera houses in Europe, including the Semperoper Dresden, where she was a member of their Ensemble for six years. She currently performs with the Landestheater Detmold where she was recently awarded the Theaterpreis as favourite Musik Theater Ensemble member. This season she can be seen as Antonia, Donna Elvira, Iduna and Sister Helen Prejean as well as being featured in the Neujahrskonzert 2024.
