Emily Dorn

Canadian soprano Emily Dorn began perfoming professionally at the age of eleven as the main singer in Cirque du Soleil's touring production of 'Quidam'. She studied Voice Performance at McGill University and Mannes College before embarking on her operatic career. She has since  performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and major opera houses all over the world, including the Semperoper Dresden, Seattle Opera and the Landestheater Detmold where she is currently an Ensemble member. This season you can see Emily perform the role of Fuchs in "Das Schlaue Füchslein" with both the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater and the Landestheater Detmold. She also sings the title role in Alcina and Contessa di Folleville in Rossini's "Il Viaggo a Reims" with the Landestheater Detmold.
